City of Ventura - 2022-020 VenturaWaterPure - Ocean Outfall Offshore

NOTICE INVITING BIDS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids from prequalified General Contractors will be received by the City of San Buenaventura, California, at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall, 501 Poli Street (Post Office Box 99), Ventura, California, before 2:00 p.m., on Thursday the 25th day of May, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for VenturaWaterPure – Ocean Outfall Offshore.

This includes the installation of approximately 9,100 feet of 20-inch HDPE pipeline via HDD and opencut methods in the ocean, under the Ventura Harbor, and onshore, installation of approximately 1,400 feet of 42-inch HDPE casing pipe, 4,200 feet of 10 and 12-inch HDPE sewer force main, approximately 2,300 feet of 6-inch HDPE recycled water line via HDD and open cut methods with tie-ins of the force main and recycled water line to existing pipe. Additional work includes the installation of two pigging vaults which include piping and valves, electrical and instrumentation. Work including all appurtenant work is described in the specification 2022-020 and shown on the plans with Drawing No. 2022-D-020. The Engineer’s Estimate of cost is $41,000,000.

The said work shall be performed in strict conformity with specifications therefore being Specification No. 2022-020 on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
